What We Do

We manage the BCF Scholarships Program, which grants scholarships to students of Barbadian heritage pursuing post-secondary education at Canadian universities or colleges.

We support healthcare initiatives through:

  • Donations of medical equipment and supplies to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, and

  • Donations to other Canadian registered charities.

  • We support other humanitarian causes, such as disaster relief.

To date, we have contributed a total of $779,967 to our Education, Healthcare, and Disaster Relief causes as follows:

  • Granted 111 scholarships for a total of $407,000.

  • Donated 31 pieces of medical equipment costing $252,215 to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados.

Operated entirely by volunteers, we are committed to contributing the maximum amount of each donation received to the charitable causes we support.
